This site is designed to take advantage of CSS. If you are seeing this, CSS must not be available or enabled in your browser. Everything should still work, but won't be as pretty. :)

I can't seem to get Specific DNS to work. I enter the URL of the site, the name server information and accept any result and I keep getting an error "Invalid option:".
Any suggestions?
A Few Questions
Oscar,
I have a few questions to help me find what might be going on.
Do you have "Disable recursive queries" checked for the test? If so, does unchecking it change the result?
What version of Simon are you using?
What version of Mac OS X?
What is the exact URL that you are trying to resolve?
What is in the name server address field?
More information about my setup
Thanks for trying to help. I really like what I see in the rest of your software.
I have tried to use Specific DNS with "Disable recursive queries" checked and unchecked. Even restared my computer in between attempts.
What version of Simon are you using?
Version 2.2.1 (2029)
What version of Mac OS X?
10.4.8
What is the exact URL that you are trying to resolve?
techsearchinc.net
What is in the name server address field?
ns1.hostdns4u.com
I even chose "Accept any result".
I have tried other URLs too. None seem to work even though I can confirm that they work at http://www.kloth.net/services/nslookup.php
Looking forward to your feedback. Curious if this even works on your side or if the problem is unique to me.
Oscar
A fix is on the way
It turns out there was an issue with a newer version of a Mac OS tool that the Specific DNS service uses. A bug fix should be forthcoming.
