This site is designed to take advantage of CSS. If you are seeing this, CSS must not be available or enabled in your browser. Everything should still work, but won't be as pretty. :)

URLs

I am a new Mac user and have stumbled upon your product in my search for a PIM. I've reviewed the forum, but I did not see this mention/discussed.

If I copy a page that contains URLs, Caboodle recognizes them fine. However, if I type one, it does not recognized them. Please help. Thanks for a great product.

Regards,

Chris

Re: URLs

Sounds like a feature request: an automatic URL-maker.

However, in the meantime, there is a Link feature: click the Link toolbar button (or in the menus) and a sheet will be displayed where you can type, paste, or drag your URL, which will be inserted as a link - either using the URL itself, or any selected text, as the link text.

URLs

Thanks for responding. I tried that before I posted my comments. I click on the link button and type in www.apple.com and it is inserted into the text underlined as if it is a URL (cursor changes to a hand), but when I click on it nothing happens.

Re: URLs

You probably need the protocol prefix. Select the link and click the Link button again, and add "http://" (without the quotes) before the URL.

The prefix was all it needed

The prefix was all it needed to work. Thanks.
