Accidental table deletion

Is it possible to restore a deleted table? While trying to figure out how to delete a line, the whole record was deleted.

Which also brings up the question: Is it possible to delete lines?

And while I'm here...is it possible to sort a table?

Hi Sheri.

If you accidentally delete a table (or any text), simply choose Edit > Undo to restore it. Note that this will only work until you leave the entry.

I'm not aware of any way to delete a table row, or sort a column, unfortunately. The table feature is provided by the OS, so its functionality is limited to what the OS offers.
