Introducing Simon 5!

Simon version 5 is now available. It is a massive update, introducing a much-requested feature: syncing the Simon data between multiple Macs, plus a Simon Status service, a Link Checker filter, improved Find filter, iMessage and Speak Error notifiers, a new app icon, and much more.

Important: please note that Simon 5 requires a minimum of macOS 10.12 (Sierra), and is a paid upgrade from Simon 4. Purchasers since September 1, 2020 automatically get a version 5 license (that also works in previous versions).

Next check weeks away

The 'next check' for all tests is currently reading '4 weeks'. I did a 'check now' for all tests and they all did a successful check, then rolled over to another 4 weeks before the next check. The 'checking options' for each test are set to check again in 15 minutes.

I had a extended power outage recently and discovered that computer battery was drained. And the network was not up on restart (no ntp) so date/time was reset to hardware default. The 'next check' problem existed before the upgrade to 2.3.3 and the date/time issue is the only thing I can think of that has changed.

How do I get Simon to return to doing checks every 15 minutes?

Re: Next check weeks away

Checking all doesn't reschedule the tests, to avoid having them all at the same time.

What you need to do to reschedule them is check each one at a time. That will reset the next check date. You can manually check them at the interval apart you want them to be checked in the future.

Thanks, that fixed it. I

Thanks, that fixed it.

I was sure I had tried to do individual checks for a couple of items and it didn't work. I must have been doing something else though.
