Hi,
I've just purchased Narrator through the MU Promo site, and so far I like its ease-of-use and unique concept of being able to "cast" different voices and edit them to my liking; however, I think I've run into something of a bug. I'm not exactly sure how it occurs, but occasionally, the play button won't work, and will be rendered non-functioning until I either quit or reopen the document. It seems to happen most often after I edit the voice parameters of a particular character. EDIT: Actually, after some more testing, I believe it occurs when I hit the "Next" button, which breaks the play function. I find this bug somewhat of a severe usability issue, so I thought I'd let you know. Aside from that, Narrator is still a great little app and is as fun to use as it is useful. Thanks for the hard work!

Re: Replay Bug?
Thanks for letting me know. Does Play stop working for you every time you use Next, or only some of the time? Does it only occur with some documents, or all?
Weird...
It only happened some of the time, but now it doesn't seem to be happening at all anymore... strange. I've been testing Narrator with a long and complex passage, and it seems to be doing fine now. I'm not sure what went wrong before... anyway, if it happens again, I'll let you know.
Thanks for the quick response, and sorry for the inconvenience.
EDIT: I've encountered the bug again. This time it was after I pushed the pause button right after altering the voice for a character. It's hard to track down exactly how it happens because it seems to be pretty random, but clicking the play/pause button a lot (as I do when tweaking voices) after changing voices has been a consistent pattern I've seen, though I can't pinpoint the problem. Hope this helps somewhat.
Re: Weird...
Thanks, I'll check it out. If you can determine a consistent way to recreate it, please let me know. These kinds of sporadic issues can be tricky to track down and fix.
