I am working on an update to use iOS 5's built-in Twitter support. I've made Tweeps free until that update is ready, since it won't work for new users anyway. Those would be useful lists.
I'm not sure how feasible that would be with the Twitter APIs — the relationship buttons are loaded via a separate request for each profile. But there may be a way to get that info en-masse.
