There isn't an option for that in Caboodle, but I recommend using TextExpander for such quick insertions. You can also use my BlogAssist tool for date insertions; see the BlogAssist User Guide for details.

Thanks for the confirmation. The workaround are interesting but I still think this would make a nice addition in a future release, if this can be done.
