Web Access to the Monitor - like WhistleBlower

WhistleBlower by James Sentman used to have a very similar functionality as Simon.
http://www.sentman.com/sentman.com.html
Unfortunately it was written in Real Basic and had a performance issue when
run with a lot of objects and over a long duration and it's no longer supported.

Simon has other advantages over WhistleBlowers as well, like the
ability to use Shell- and AppleScripts to probe the services.

However, I've liked its built-in Web server of WhistleBlower very much,
which allowed me to access the service monitor from any computer on Internet.

Yes, that was a nice feature. In Simon, you can use the Reports feature to view the recent status of the tests in a web page, but it isn't interactive — you can't control tests from the browser.

This is something I'd like to add in a future version, though it isn't yet scheduled for a release. WhistleBlower did it by running its own web server, which has some advantages, but also disadvantages, like having to make the machine public. With Simon's reports, you can do that or upload to a remove web host.
