Any chance of a word count/character count? I use Caboodle for rough drafting and getting the outline right – the left pane is ideal for this. I appreciate that Caboodle was probably intended more for handling clippings (which I do as well). But I thought I'd ask...

That has been requested before, and it's something I'm considering for a future version.

In the meantime, you can get a word/character count via third-party tools, e.g. I use PTHPasteboard Pro for multiple clipboards, and it includes a display of line, word, character counts for each clipboard.

PTHPasteboard Pro is quite pricey but it looks like an unusually powerful and versatile utility -- thanks for the tip
