Simon 5 is coming soon!
Simon version 5 is currently in beta testing. It is a massive update, introducing a much-requested feature: syncing the Simon data between multiple Macs, plus a Simon Status service, a Link Checker filter, improved Find filter, iMessage and Speak Error notifiers, a new app icon, and much more.
Important: please note that Simon 5 requires a minimum of macOS 10.12 (Sierra), and will be a paid upgrade from Simon 4 after the beta. Purchasers since September 1, 2020 automatically get a version 5 license (that also works in previous versions).
Re: Simon and Mysql
Oh- I forgot I run 10.7.2
Re: Simon and Mysql
Did you buy the standard edition from the Dejal site, or Simon Express from the Mac App Store?
The MySQL plugin (and many others) is only available in the standard edition.
See the Simon Feature Comparison page for details.
Re: Simon and Mysql
I bought the version from your site (bronze for a starter) - but the plugin does not show up under OS X Lion. There is only the MYSQL WORKS plugin. Do I something wrong ?

Re: Simon and Mysql
Hmm, it should show up. Is it in the Services window (as opposed to the Service Kind popup in New Test).
Re: Simon and Mysql
No - its not there - may be I try on another machine
Re: Simon and Mysql
Actually, I just looked at the default data, and it seems to be omitted. Not sure why; I'll add it to the next version.
However, you can still use it. Simply create a new service and select the MySQL service kind.
Re: Simon and Mysql
thanx
Re: Simon and Mysql
Its working now fine - for newbies it would be good to mention in the help text, that the IP of the machine where Simon sits must be registered as a user in the mysql database
