Twitter Notifications Broken

Twitter notifications are all coming up as:

The transaction resulted in a "Authorization Failed" error. Please check the notifier credentials.

However, the credentials are correct for CERTAIN, and fully tested. For some reason it just stopped working.

Yes, this is a known issue — Twitter seems to have recently broken the xAuth authentication.

We're working on a fix for the next Simon release.

(I'm also working on a fix for Tweeps, which is similarly broken... but there I can leverage iOS 5's built-in Twitter support, which isn't an option for Simon.)
