Simon 5 is coming soon!

Simon version 5 is currently in beta testing. It is a massive update, introducing a much-requested feature: syncing the Simon data between multiple Macs, plus a Simon Status service, a Link Checker filter, improved Find filter, iMessage and Speak Error notifiers, a new app icon, and much more.

Important: please note that Simon 5 requires a minimum of macOS 10.12 (Sierra), and will be a paid upgrade from Simon 4 after the beta. Purchasers since September 1, 2020 automatically get a version 5 license (that also works in previous versions).

Can't create long "Minutes" Pause

Refer to an old topic I posted in the past:

http://www.dejal.com/forums/2010/03/10/run-test-once-day-near-given-time

Summary: I want to run a Pulse test at ~ 6:00 AM every morning.

This test was imported from our old setup. After the upgrade yesterday I noticed I didn't receive a notifier this morning and checked the test once on site. The notifier came across as "APC Masterswitch". I reset it to the defined Email Notifier, but now the test is running every 5 minutes and I can't get it to pause until 6:00 am.

I deleted and recreated the test. No Joy.

I've tried to Pause this test for the number of minutes until 6am, (right now that would be 1346) but it always goes back to 5 minutes. It appears the max I can do is 900 minutes? I guess the only option is to have to set a reminder to reset the pause later today? Am I missing something?

Re: Can't create long "Minutes" Pause

The pause is limited to 3 digits, i.e. a max of 999.

You could set a reminder for the next hour, then use an Hour pause.

But I think what you really need to do is edit the Auto-Pause options of the test, to set it to pause from midnight to 06:00, and 06:04 to midnight.
