Simon 5 is coming soon!
Simon version 5 is currently in beta testing. It is a massive update, introducing a much-requested feature: syncing the Simon data between multiple Macs, plus a Simon Status service, a Link Checker filter, improved Find filter, iMessage and Speak Error notifiers, a new app icon, and much more.
Important: please note that Simon 5 requires a minimum of macOS 10.12 (Sierra), and will be a paid upgrade from Simon 4 after the beta. Purchasers since September 1, 2020 automatically get a version 5 license (that also works in previous versions).
Re: Editing notifiers does not work
I'll investigate. I don't have a 10.6.x system, so hopefully I'll be able to reproduce the issue on a later OS version. If not, you might have to stick with Simon 3.6.1 until you're ready to upgrade your OS. (No real need to to update to 3.6.3 for existing customers anyway.)
Re: Editing notifiers does not work
Actually, the issue occurred on Yosemite too. Now fixed. (It was related to adding recognition of version 4 groups; I added it for tests, but not services, filters, etc.)
Re: Editing notifiers does not work
I haven't checked very thoroughly, but version 3.6.4 indeed seems to fix the reported problem. Thx for prompt action!
