How to restore Menu or Dock icon access?

I disabled both the menubar access and the dock access. Now I can't remember how to restore one or the other. (Rookie mistake!)

Running OS X 10.11.4

Ah, the trick for people who want to make it hard to change the settings!

With both the Dock icon and status item hidden, the only way to access the preferences is to open the app from the Finder, then press ⌘, (i.e. Command and Comma together; the standard shortcut for displaying preferences).

Thanks, I thought it was something like that!

I meant to say above that I am really enjoying the 2.0 version of Time Out. It's nicely updated, works well, and accomplishes its mission of getting me out of my chair. Thanks!

Thank you, I appreciate it. If you haven't already, I'd love to get some more positive reviews on MacUpdate and/or the Mac App Store, to help convince others to try Time Out 2 (and even if you have reviewed on the Mac App Store, updating it will resurface the review for the latest version):

Thanks, that really helps spread the word!
