Introducing Simon 5!

Simon version 5 is now available. It is a massive update, introducing a much-requested feature: syncing the Simon data between multiple Macs, plus a Simon Status service, a Link Checker filter, improved Find filter, iMessage and Speak Error notifiers, a new app icon, and much more.

Important: please note that Simon 5 requires a minimum of macOS 10.12 (Sierra), and is a paid upgrade from Simon 4. Purchasers since September 1, 2020 automatically get a version 5 license (that also works in previous versions).

Simon quits monitoring when computer goes to sleep

Currently Simon is working flawlessly for me when I am using my computer but, when I am away from computer and iMac goes to sleep, monitoring stops. I have a couple of backup jobs that wake the computer to run and Simon kicks in while they are running. Is there a way to make a service that would reliably wake the computer at some interval when it is sleeping so that Simon can continue some level of monitoring while computer is in sleep mode? I'd like to still allow the computer to sleep but have it wake every hour, or so, for about 5 minutes to let Simon run all pending checks then let computer go back to sleep until the next interval. Any ideas on how I could accomplish this?

I haven't tried it, but there's a third-party app called Aurora that apparently can wake your Mac from sleep at a scheduled time, and put it back to sleep. Looks like it supports multiple wake/sleep setups, too.
