This is a complete rewrite of the old classic QuickEncrypt product, using Mac OS X native Cocoa technologies.

Drop a file or folder on this application to quickly encrypt it, or decrypt previously encrypted files. The application currently supports QE's original encryption format, and may be enhanced in the future to support other formats.

Note, at present only the basic encryption and decryption features are implemented, plus a basic archive window. Future enhancements may be made based on feedback and workload, so please tell me if you use QuickEncrypt, and what new or old features you'd like to see implemented in this rewrite.

Warning: it is likely that this product will be discontinued at some point. It isn't likely to be built as a Universal Binary, as it'd be a lot of work to upgrade the encryption algorithms. I don't like to discontinue apps, but sometimes it's the best thing to do. I only recommend using QuickEncrypt if you used the Classic version and are now using Mac OS X, so you can continue to access your archives without having to launch Classic.
